If you have a peptic ulcer, you will feel pain in the stomach and a burning sensation. Many times, this problem related to the stomach occurs due to unhealthy eating, poor lifestyle, and excessive consumption of oily and spicy foods. During a peptic ulcer, there is pain in the stomach, and this pain is felt from the navel to the chest; these are considered the most common symptoms of a peptic ulcer. CBD (Common Bile Duct) stones develop when gallstones move into the bile duct and block the normal flow of bile. This can lead to symptoms such as jaundice, severe abdominal pain, fever, and even infection of the bile duct (cholangitis). CBD Stone Removal is usually performed using an endoscopic procedure like ERCP, where stones are removed without major surgery. Early treatment helps relieve symptoms, prevent complications, and restore proper digestive function.
Variceal bleeding occurs when enlarged veins in the food pipe (esophagus) or stomach rupture, most commonly due to advanced liver disease or portal hypertension. It can present with vomiting of blood or black stools and requires urgent medical care. Endoscopic procedures such as band ligation or injection therapy are commonly used to control bleeding. Proper management not only stops active bleeding but also reduces the chances of recurrence.
Indigestion refers to discomfort in the upper abdomen, often accompanied by bloating, early fullness, belching, acidity, or nausea. It may result from unhealthy eating habits, stress, gastritis, acid reflux, or other digestive conditions. Identifying the underlying cause is important for effective treatment. Dietary adjustments, medications, and lifestyle changes can significantly improve digestion and prevent recurring symptoms.
